Terrebonne Beach is a community located in northern Pintona. It was founded in 1714 by the French people. The majority of the people were slaves who worked on plantations and especially in salt mines. When the salt mines were shut down in 1971, the economy in Terrebonne Beach collapsed and many people moved to other parts of Pintona and to other countries in the Caribbean.

Since then, Terrebonne Beach has become Pintona's poorest settlement, known for its slum-like houses (many of which formerly housed slaves) and the low quality of life of its residents. The settlement has 1,033 inhabitants, many of whom are unemployed.
